$25 MILLION FOR NATIONAL SOLAR SCHOOLS PROGRAM
enviren and our project partners provide a complete and easy solution for your school's requirements for the Australian Commonwealth Government's National Solar Schools Program (NSSP).
The Solar Schools Grant provides up to $50,000 to install solar hot water systems, rainwater tanks, solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and a whole host of energy efficiency measures.
The NSSP is designed to assist primary and secondary schools across the country take practical action to save energy and cut their electricity bills, whilst also providing educational benefits for students in learning about renewable energy and the importance of reducing their carbon footprint.
The Australian Government is providing grants of up to $50,000 (excluding GST) available for each school in Australia to install grid connected solar power.
Solar grant application steps
- Complete a Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts General Registration
- Access the Department's Log In page and you'll be taken to the Department's Grants Menu.
- Select the National Solar Schools Registration.
- Complete the National Solar Schools registration form and submit.
- The government will confirm eligibility, accept your registration and the amount of funding your school is eligible to claim.
- Plan your project with the help of a enviren experienced support staff who will help ensure you gain optimum value for your grant money
- Download and complete the National Solar Schools Claim Form from the Department's Grants Menu.
- Once accepted, you will be notified a Funding Agreement is available, which you'll then download.
- Print and sign two copies of the agreement, then mail to the National Solar Schools Team.
- The NSSP team will sign and return an agreement to you and deposit the grant. At this point the enviren team will commence the project.
